Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
18-25 January 2026
Christians across the world are invited to come together in prayer during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.
Theme for 2026 comes from Saint Paul’s letter to the Ephesians:
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling”
(Ephesians 4:4)
These words remind us that, despite our different traditions and expressions of faith, we belong to one Body in Christ, united by the same Spirit and called to the same hope.
Our deanery joined together in a special Taizé style service.

This is a village event to meet up with friends and neighbours to enjoy a range of delicious hot and cold drinks and home made cakes.

World Day of Prayer

Countdown to the Day of Prayer for 2026 has begun - this focus this year is Nigeria.
